how do you rate the Boston Bruins fans in terms of passion for their team? Do you consider them tough fans to play against when the Bruins are at home?

I moved out to Lincoln Mass. for a year and I was disappointed in the fans. Only the guys I played hockey with cared about the team. Everyone else just talked about the Sox or the 'Pats. I even went to a game against my Wings and at the end everyone was chanting 'Pats, 'Pats, 'Pats. (they did go on to win the Superbowl).
I read that last year the Bruins fell to 20th in the league for attendence. I highly doubt that improved during this season!!
The level of hockey played out there was great though. Really good playing and coaching. I can't believe the Bruins can't appeal to a base like that!
