Did I get a steal?
I just purchased a 1999 topps chrome Josh Hamilton rookie Card Graded by becket with a grade of 9.
Centering 8.5--------Corners 9
Edges 9---------------Surface 9.5
I purchased it for 19.95 at a local video game store
(they usually overprice or underprice, they dont know...)
He is on pace to be MVP this year, and possibly a HOFamer.
Do you think I got a steal?
I'm 14 and I usually save all my money, but occaisionally I'll spend some of it for a nice football or baseball card.
Hopefully, you mite have urself a steal if he goes on to have a huge career. Hey im the same boat as you, i opened a Topps pack a few years ago and got a Josh Hamilton rookie card for when he was a Red. Prolly won't even reach the price of your card, but hey its something to look forward to into the future. That's the nice thing about collecting cards, its an investment you don't even have to pay attention to, it jsut happens.
