Derek Jeter...?

I don't know if most of you read..but they were saying in a poll taken by "his peers" they voted him most overrated superstar. I would like to know WHO voted...and what happened with that. I've been watching the Yankees and Jeter...when Jeter began his career with them. I've been watching closely his entire career. He's done a lot for me..I learned a lot from him. He's all about the team and not his own records. He's Captain for a reason. He's always putting up the numbers and is always there when the Yanks need him. He's far from overrated. He's no where near that. In fact they should be saying how great he really is! I think they are just jealous...as stupid as that may sound...

Let me get something straight with you right off the bat.
I'm a Red Sox fan.
Born and raised in Boston, I HATE the Yankees.
But Derek Jeter is by far the most respectable player on the team. He was a rookie in what? 1992 or something? And has been on the Yankees ever since. He is captain of the team for a reason. He's outstanding at baseball and definitely is a solid team leader. I respect this guy because he's on the best shortstops in the game and always has a high batting average. In my opinion, Jeter deserves respect. He's my favorite player on the Yankees.
Whoever said A-Rod is better must not know too much about baseball, since A-Rod has got to the one of the most annoying, and most classless players in the game. When he was slumping, Yankee fans were booing him. Every at-bat, he'd get booed, so I can't respect any Yankee fan who say they love him, since everyone was booing him a couple of years ago.
