can DP/DR exist without anxiety and if not what is it called?

i have experienced dissociative through anxiety and it is absolutely horrifying, yet there are certain times where my mind seems to dissociate in a more euphoric sense.it has all the other components of my dp/dr, such as not really being able to comprehend reality, and almost seeing myself in the 3rd person, perceiving reality as a hologram and watching motion as liquid, but in an odd way it is "insane" of relaxing. stepping outside your own mind and reality and just watching yourself,
it is definitely something like my dp/dr but i was wondering why i don't experience anxiety sometimes when it happens, is it something else beside dp/dr if it sometimes does'nt have anxiety? and if so what might it be?

DP/DR usually follows or proceeds anxiety or trauma but not always. If you are a person who has a tendency to dissociate then you may do it independent of the anxiety. However... the not being able to comprehend reality points to it being something more than just DP/DR as reality testing is always intact with DP/DR.

But yes, you can have Depersonalization or Derealization without anxiety. I have Depersonalization Disorder, I've struggled with it my whole life and have been depersonalized without a break for over 3 years now.......
