Can the apt. manager change the parking rules after the lease is signed?

He knew I had 2 vehicles (registered to me, and in running condition) when I signed a year's lease, never said anything about it. Now he tells me I can only park 1 in the lot. Can he do that?

Your lease may be silent on parking or may specify one space only.

Check with the local zoning office and see if they require 2 spaces per unit. If so you may have a bargaining point.

Do not start a war with management, unless you can afford to loose.
